Back from Hiatus

I think I need to get back to updating the people that listen to my music. Are you still out there? I hope so, because I love playing music for all of you, I just don't get around to spending much time online. Online is where you have to be for music these days, but unfortunately I prefer to be out at coffee shops playing live and hittin' the road and going all sorts of places when I get free time. True coffeeshops have Wi-Fi, but the point is to socialize not surf the internet at a coffee shop.

In April and May I had a string of 6 gigs in as many weeks, and even spent a weekend in Chicago at a wedding. I had a great time playing shows and sold/ gave away the first dozen copies of my new album (albeit still in the works right now). I was doing so great playing every weekend and neglected to type a summary of all the shows. Now a month has past and after a short break I'll be playing almost every weekend in June and July (a couple weeks off in August, and back to it again this fall). Truth be told, I'm having a great year coming off the recording sessions this winter, and want everyone to get a chance to hear my new music.

So what I'm working on at the moment... and I sort of have to take things one thing at a time because I'm so far behind...

Collect money from Ebay auctions of old music equipment! Save for next recording session.

Schedule next recording session. Columbus Day weekend? Check calendar.

E-mail everyone on my mailing list about the June shows in Phoenix and write them here:

Xtreme Bean -Tempe - 6/6
Mighty Cup n' Spoon - Glendale - 6/13
Fiddler's Dream - Phoenix - 6/27

E-mail guitar instructor about top-secret guitar stuff.

Practice that new cover of "Cocaine Blues," the Townes Van Zandt version, that I didn't quite get right when I debuted it at Xtreme Bean last month.

Make tuna fish for lunch tomorrow.

That last one is pretty important and I better get on it quick. I made some progress tonight on this list, so I will leave it at that. Actually one more item of course,

Blog!

See you at the show, Eddie
